Reinoldikirche: the oldest church in Dortmund, Germany

Reinoldikirche is considered to be the oldest church in Dortmund, Germany. The city of Dortmund is located in the industrial region of Ruhr in the province of North Rhein-Westfalen. The church was damaged during the bombardments of the World War II. It was built in 1250-1270 with an architectural style of late Romanesque church. Then later in 15th century, the tower of the church has was completed. It has a height of 112 meters. Reinoldikirche is now standing in the central point of the city near the Reinoldikirche tram station and is a hub for the shopping, entertaining and site seeing of the city.
